Stephen (Steve) Almeida Jr. is the Director of Fuel Cells and CHP at Aris Renewable Energy, LLC, providing expertise on fuel cells with a background in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarines, where fuel cells were first introduced to him and proved to be a vital technology. As a former Utility Professional, Steve excels in providing customers with information and benefits of the fuel cell as a source of renewable energy. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA), who work towards advancing innovative, clean, safe, and reliable energy technologies. Steve has been with Aris since 2017.

 

Steve holds a BA with Honors in International Relations/International Business from Florida International University and was a TIRES Scholar at the prestigious Sciences-Po [Paris].

 

He currently resides in Connecticut, where Steve is serves on Advisory Board member to Northeast Electrochemical Energy Storage Cluster & Member to CT Fuel Cell Coalition.
