The class leading modular and scalable Micro CHP (Combined Heat and Power) unit, designed and engineered for a host of applications with widespread deployment and significant operating hours is now available in North America.
Aris and partners introduce the BlueGEN system based on SOFC technology – a next generation Distributed Energy Resource (DER) solution facilitating enhanced efficiencies, optimizing resiliency potential while sharply cutting CO2 emissions.
Each unit supplies around 13,000 kWh (kilowatt hours) of low-emission electricity per year. BlueGEN systems pack a significant power density in a relatively small footprint. The 1.5kW unit boasts a net electrical efficiency of 60%, and overall efficiency is close to 90% when factoring in heat capture functionality. Thus, BlueGEN is well suited for both residential and commercial applications, ensuring safe, reliable, critical power onsite.

BlueGEN modular systems are capable of
operating via a hydrogen blend, thus becoming a
preferred energy medium when transitioning
toward a hydrogen-based economy.

Gas Supply

HIW_naturalgas

BlueGEN is compatible with utility gas
distribution or onsite gas storage. Continuous
supply from gas grid for constant operation.
BlueGEN is able to run on renewable natural
gas, biogas, synthetic gas and blends of these
gases including HYDROGEN with utility natural gas.

Power Grid

HIW_plug

Post electrochemical reaction, BlueGEN
supplies power for local loads within a house
and/or business. Configuration with hybrid
inverter enables power export with option
to toggle to a resilient island mode in grid
outage.

Monitoring

All systems are monitored upon Installation/
Commissioning. Each BlueGEN unit has
its own IP address with app for handheld
devices or computer-based systems, enabling
remote maintenance and monitoring of data.

system can operate in reverse (SOE-Solid
Oxide Electrolyzer), enabling hydrogen
